Spoorsingel Zuid Anna Paulowna

Spoorsingel Zuid

In the Dutch village of Anna Paulowna a former industrial area near the railway station will be transformed into a new neighborhood called Spoorsingel Zuid. In close cooperation with project developer NW360 Vastgoedontwikkeling our studio designs the urban plan, the public spaces and the architecture of the new buildings.

The new neighborhood is a small-scale development that blends naturally into the rural and green character of the village. In each one of the apartment buildings about 21 apartments will be realized. Most apartments are designed as corner apartments and each apartment has a large outside space in the form of a garden, a balcony or a roof terrace.

Along the waterfront an attractive route for pedestrians and bicycles is to be created. Here, no parking spaces for cars will be allowed. A small car-park will be provided behind the apartment buildings. A half-open pavement, green hedges and new trees will give a green and sustainable character to this parking area. The owners of the individual villas will park their cars on their own properties.
